There is a realm one clicks into when the camera is glued to the face during a situation surrounded by nature, people, or events. This situation is the time of day, the light, the subject, the composition, overall this certain present moment that will never be quite the same again. There is a realm one clicks into when the camera is glued to the face during a situation surrounded by nature, people, or events. This situation is the time of day, the light, the subject, the composition, overall this certain present moment that will never be quite the same again. The senses become acutely focused, the mind quieted to take in new potentials, details, and discoveries. There is a point where a photographer can forget themselves, all self-consciousness and trivial worries leaks away, the awareness switches to outside of the body as well as inside the camera. It is like dancing with your environment, while trying to snatch various specifically colored strands of it's glorious hair. Upon this snatching, or maybe a recording of information, is an attempt to formulate a wig of your own, or at least a lock in result, that is hopefully composed of some pleasing photographs. Art is an imitation or exaggeration of life after-all, isn't it?
